Autumn courses for health care journalists Rare diseases, a comprehensive approach

The National Alliance for Rare Diseases Romania in partnership with the Rare Cancers Romanian Association, the Romania Medical College, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iaşi and the Romanian Society of Medical Genetics held at NoRo Center for Rare Diseases Zalău, from 6 to 8 September 2012 one series of courses for health care accredited journalists in the country, with the theme "Rare Diseases - a comprehensive approach." The training’s coordinator was journalist Alexandra Mănăilă (Bucharest Medical College). Also participated as expert trainers: Mr. Prof. Dr. Vasile Astărăstoae - President of the College of Physicians of Romania, president of UMF Iasi, Ms. Prof. Dr. Maria Puiu – President of SRGM, University of Timisoara, Mrs. Dr. Ioana Bianchi – Advisor at the Ministry of Health.
The course was attended by 16 journalists, in written, audio, online, print and public health media at the national level
