The International Family Day

15 May, the International Family Day, was celebrated by the Department of Labor, Social Solidarity and Family together with RPWA, and we had a presentation of our activities from the point of view of the families having children with rare genetic diseases – 16 participants. 
The meeting was also attended by IPWSO representatives. 

Informare și consiliere pentru părinții copiilor cu autism

A fost creat un Grup de suport pentru copiii cu Autism. Astfel,la 23.05.2006 a avut loc o intalnire cu acesti copii insotiti de parintii lor.La intalnire au participat :
-copii
-parinti
-2 medici si un psiholog,
-Inspectorul Judetean ANPH
-asistenti sociali;

Dupa aceasta intalnire in care am demarat grupul de suport am continuat cu un program care cuprindea 5 pasi pentru a schimba un comportament. Activitatile cu acest grup de suport au devenit permanente.

Training Courses For The Staff

On 31.03.2006, 2 members of the RPWA staff started a medium level social work training course
At the end of the training course, degrees were issued, approved by the Ministry of Labor, Social Solidarity and Family

Implicare în viața comunității

Asociatia Prader Willi din Romania a organizat intalnirea cu titlul:” Implicare in viata comunitatii, miercuri 25 ianuarie 2006, orele 15.00 la sediul Centrului de Informare pentru Boli Genetice Rare din str. A. Iancu, nr. 29, etaj III. 
La intalnire au participat 16 reprezentanti ai ONG-urilor si institutiilor locale: DASC, MMSSF, DGASPC, Prefectura Salaj, Consiliul Judetean Salaj, Primaria Municipiului Zalau, etc. S-au stabilit linii de actiune comune si s-au discutat eventuale parteneriate viitoare.

 

Information And Couseling For Parents Of Children With Autism

A support group for children with autism was created. On 23.05.2006 a meeting took place with these children and their parents:
-children
-parents
-2 doctors and 1 psychiatrist,
-ANPH County Inspector
-social workers;

After this meeting, we started the support group with a program consisting of 5 steps for behavior changes. Activities with this group became permanent.
